We'd like to introduce you to...

Brody Reese Crowther

Born May 30th 2009 - at 7:42 pm

Weight - 9lbs 9 oz. 21 inches long

We are SO in LOVE with him! 

Welcome our little Brody Bear.  This is actually the first ever picture that was taken of Brody.  The nurses were getting him all cleaned up.  What a bright world!!!

Jen did such an amazing job.  When it finally came time, she got him out in under an hour!

Getting his foot prints taken. SO CUTE!  Tyson was taking as many pictures as he could as fast as he could and somehow managed to get his tiny little feet into a heart.  And the picture gets his whole body.  This is definitely in the running already of our favorite picture from the birth.

Daddy giving him his first bottle. He's so big that he has to have a sugar test done before every eating to make sure his sugar levels are high enough and formula is the best thing to give him. He's a good eater!   It makes us sad that he has to get pricked for the test before every feeding, but he hasn't cried once...not even for the Vitamin K shot!

This looks like Brody is rocking our to our I-pod, but he is getting his hearing test right now.  He passed with ease.  What a little stud!

Our nurse Cassandra - she was the Best nurse ever! She was with us from start to finish.   

We are so happy that baby Brody is here!!!

We are so in LOVE with our new little guy and couldn't feel more lucky and blessed! 

In the hospital....

This morning Jen woke me up and told me she had really painful contractions.  Long story short, when we got into the Hospital and they checked her out, she was already dilated to a six....So, now we are just waiting for the Baby bear to arrive.  We'll post more later.... Thanks for everybody's thoughts and prayers...

Wouldn't you like to know...

40 Weeks and counting...

That, Yes there is still no baby bear. Darn! The due date has now come and gone. Don't be fooled by my baby count down that says our baby is two days old...not so much, he's 40 weeks and 2 days old in my belly! I think it's pretty cool that I've made it all the way to 40 weeks. I still feel good - granted I do have aches and pains, but I am still comfortable and I am still sleeping amazing. I consider myself lucky. But I am ready for him to come!!

So here is the down low...we went to the doctors today for our LAST, (yea!) weekly doctors appointment. I am still only dilated to a 2, but my cervix is softening just fine and he is totally head down, so all in all it's good. We had a little stress test done where they hooked my belly to a monitor where it recorded our little guys heart beat to make sure he was still doing good - and he is doing great! He's just enjoying himself in my belly. Let's just say Hotel Mama Bear is ready to be vacant! So now he has the option to come in the next 3 1/2 days on his own, other wise we are set to arrive at the hospital Sunday night at 8pm and that's where they will get things going. How exciting! So we should have a baby bear hopefully sometime Monday, UNLESS he comes before then. 

So that's the update. 

For those who have called me...I will call you back! Yes, I know you've heard that before, but I will! 

If anything changes we will let you all know! 

We seriously can't handle the wait any longer! We are so excited! We just want this little guy to come so we can cuddle and love him up! It's going to be AMAZING! And by the way...I have the most INCREDIBLE hubby, love him to bits and pieces! 

So come on baby bear... we are anxiously awaiting your arrival!

37 Weeks...

37 Weeks... we are getting to the home stretch! Baby Bear could choose to make his arrival anytime now. Sooner than later would be fabulous... but it's okay if he wants to take a little bit more time. I will admit I am ready for him to come so we can meet him, snuggle him and kiss his sweet little cheeks. 

I went to the doctors today and everything is going great, and I am right where I should be. I am still feeling good - Obviously I am ready for him to come - I am starting to get uncomfortable mostly when we are in the car, getting in and out is a pain! I have been getting contractions, some have been big others are little but it's a good sign my body is getting ready...YEA! I still sleep great, so I can't really complain. And on top of everything being great - I am so blessed to have the most AMAZING Husband who helps me out with anything I need, (especially bending over for me to pick stuff up, haha.) and he makes sure I am as comfortable as I can be, he's just the BEST! 

So now it's just a waiting game.... I'll let you all know if anything happens... until then I will just continue to keep growing bigger and bigger!!

Baby Bears Bedroom...

Here's Baby Bears Bedroom - We still need to hang some stuff up on the walls - but it's a good first look at what his room looks like. We are all ready for him... so he can now come whenever he feels like it. It just keeps getting more and more exciting! 

We love our Baby Bear so much!!
