we had a such a nice weekend. we spent friday evening hanging out as a family. saturday we went to D.C. for just a few hours to see a friend of ours who was in town for a statistics conference. we had a blast! we visited the smithsonian museum of natural history (brody loved it!), we hit up georgetown for lunch and cupcakes and checked out what's left of the beautiful cherry blossms. we watched the NCAA basketball finals and watched our buckeyes lose, ugh! oh well, next year right? we still love our ohio state buckeyes!! we also had a wonderful weekend watching our churchs 182nd Annual General Conference. we had the opportunity to listen to church leaders, apostles and our prophet give us guidence, lift us up, teach us ways to make our lives better and how to have a more fulfilling life. I love that peaceful feeling after a weekend of General Conference. My soul has been fed and I found some of the answers I was looking for. Life is good, so so good!
