So here is part ONE...of what we've been up to this summer!
Brody LOVES to be outside... and on any given day this summer we've headed to the park to play and we sometimes even go twice a day. Columbus is filled with some of the most amazing parks and we love them!
Some of our Park Highlights include...
letting brody run all around
playing on the play grounds
sliding down the slides
swinging in the swings
getting ice cream
picking flowers
looking up in the sky and pointing out the airplanes flying by
going for walks along the paths
picking up rocks and tasting them and throwing them
eating and playing with bark chips
finding sticks - it's pretty much a MUST when going to the park - finding the perfect stick!
feeding the ducks
getting hugged by random kids
playing with dogs that are being taken on walks
it really has been great spending so much time being outside and enjoying the park.
the best part is taking pictures of brody and capturing all his little moments and looking back at what fun days we've had.
not only is going to the park fun but the parks here are also so beautiful! something very few people know about me is that I LOVE to take pictures of flowers, it's pretty much an obsession of mine. that might sound weird, but i can't help myself.
and on top of everything else... the best part of all this...is that i love seeing the progress in brody from the begging of the summer up till now. when playing on the play ground he use to crawl around on the jungle gyms and now he can walk up the stairs all by himself, he is adventurous and fearless. he loves to climb around and go down slides. he's just the best. it's so awesome to see how he learns and grows. he's seriously so much fun! i love love love him.

Ever since I have become a parent, I have so much appreciation for public parks and feel fortunate to live in a place that maintains them. Thank you Lord for the little things in life, ya know? Love the pics, looks like a fun summer!

I love all of your pictures, they are gorgeous! You are a great photographer, and it doesn't hurt that your subject is stinkin' adorable! I liked your park highlights because it sounds EXACTLY like our daily trip to the parks, right down the tasting of bark chips! :) If only we lived closer so we could keep each other company at the parks!
