one fabulous thing about being home in Oregon is that Vancouver Washington is just a hop skip and a jump away from my parents house...and it just so happens that one of Tyson's sisters' Amy and her awesome family just happen to live in Vancouver! we got the chance to hangout quite a few times and tyson even got to go over and hangout a few different nights. it's so fun to see everyone and i really love that tyson gets to see his family! his brother tanner and his family were able to come down from Moscow Idaho for christmas too. so happy we got to see everyone!

one of the FABULOUS things we did was go downtown and meet up at the Waffle Window, it's an amazing yummy little place that makes the most terrific tasty sweet and savory waffles! and really it is just that... a Window, but they do have a cute little cafe attached where you can go in and eat your tasty TASTY waffles! if you live in,around,over,close or far from Portland, it's A MUST! in the words of Brody...'GO GO GO'. i told Amy about this place last summer and they've been hooked ever since! so glad we got to go! it was SOOOOOO GOOD as always!
of course it was a beautifuly rainy day, but that never stops us from having a good time!

Oh geeze! I feel so embarrassed now. (Mental note: Do not make any waffles for Jennifer when she comes over. I have some serious competition.)
Oh yeah. That reminds me. What was that place near Burnside that we were supposed to go to together? I think it was a teriyaki place. Add it to the list for next time!
