Heading home and Vegas Baby...

our time in oregon came to an end...and we were off! our flight got delayed out of Portland so we had plenty of time to hangout and play.

here's brody doing some very important work before we got in line to take off.



our flight from Portland took us to Las Vegas! We knew we were going to have a 4 hour layover in Vegas...but what we didn't know until we landed was that we had an almost 6 hour layover, due to winter weather delays. so when you are in Vegas and you have 6 hours to kill...what are you going to do?

well of course we left the airport and hopped on shuttle that took us over to the Las Vegas strip!

we choose to be dropped off at the 'MGM Grand' because it was the closest to the airport and i knew my way around. we wanted to take brody to the hotel 'circus circus', but it was the furthest away and we didnt know how long it would take us to get us there and back, seeing to the fact our shuttle dropped people off at all the different hotels and what if for some reason our flights' delay could have changed and come in earlier. we were kinda taking a chance on our flight staying delayed. we like to live on the edge. ;) so MGM it was!

so we got dropped off and HELLO VEGAS!!!

MGM has a Tiger exhibit so we went and checked it out before we went to eat lunch...

seeing the fact we wanted to have enough time to eat and hop back on a shuttle and get back through security and everything...i knew that MGM wouldn't disappoint, seeing to the fact we knew that they had the RainForest Cafe and we really like that place. and well there isnt one here in Ohio, so it's more fun to go somewhere you can't normally go to, right?



brody was mezmerized by the jungle theme...i think it's pretty amazing too!





we were able to enjoy a very yummy lunch and kick back and enjoy our time! it was so much fun!







after lunch we headed back out to the Strip. we walked around for a little bit and then decided it was time to find a shuttle and get back to the airport. we found a shuttle really quick and seriously, minutes later we were being dropped off at the airport.



we got through security super fast and still had 2 hours to kill. so we let brody run around ...he sat in this window for quite sometime watching planes take off.



after eating a snack and getting tired of running around we decided to ride the airport train back and forth, brody loved it! our flight got in and our travels were seriously fabulous, LONG but fabulous! we didn't get into Columbus until 1:30am, but brody was a gem! the kid was born to travel.



good times traveling! we were glad we landed in Vegas and it was fun going off and having an adventure!
