what'cha got cookin???
we had christmas morning again when we got home from oregon and the brody bear got a super duper cute kitchen for christmas and he LOVES it!
he always loves to help me cook in the kitchen. but now he has his very own kitchen to cook in. AWESOME! it's so fun to watch him. he loves his microwave. he totally puts stuff in it, presses the buttons and waits a minutes to pull out whatever he put it. he kills me, he's so funny. he got really upset at first when he'd take a cup and try to get water and ice from his fridge. sorry little buddy, it's pretend! he was so confused. after being in oregon and getting ice and water from my parents fridge, pretty sure you'd think all fridges should do that - big or small, right? pretty sure he's caught on that it's only pretends now. but he sure does make some tasty treats. he's got such a great imagination, and i think one of best parts is when he takes pretend bites of his food and goes 'mmmmmmmm'!
tyson was one proud papa for putting brody's kitchen together. the kitchen came in a big box, we figured he'd just take the kitchen out and have to attach a few things. WRONG! there were like 150 little pieces that had to be put together. but he did it and it looked a great!!
brody was so excited about his kitchen, i could not get him to look at me for a picture...but i do like that action shots of him cooking...

so cute! We picked a kitchen up for Gwen from Craigslist that we've got hiding in our closet til next Christmas. Are we crazy or what to purchase something so far in advance?!?! I know she will love it and I get so excited picturing her excitement in a year! Hooray for a well-loved toy for Brody!
I really miss that stage of life! Brody looks so cute playing in his kitchen and it just reminds me of our Sally :) Enjoy it while it lasts, but I REALLY don't need to tell you that!! :)
